We are announcing the second SELSI multiplier event.
It will be an international conference “Easy Language – Speak to Be Understood.”
The multiplier event will take place
on the 19th of October in Riga, Latvia.

The conference will also be available for online participation.

During the conference we will discuss
the work done in the project.
Our project partners from the University of Vilnius
will talk about their work on spoken Easy Language guidelines.
During the event we will also discuss
the use of easy language in various areas of life.
For example, in banks, universities, on radio,
in museums, and on the theatre stage.

We will listen to stories of experiences
and the perspectives of Easy Language users.

The special guest of the conference will be
Easy Language expert Ulla Bohman from Sweden.

The working languages of the event will be Latvian and English.
Speeches will be translated into English and Latvian.
The event is organised by the Vieglas valodas agentura from Latvia.
